Cranston Firefighters v. Raimondo, 17-1293
Affirming the district court dismissal of a complaint alleging that Rhode Island changes to firefighter and police officer pension plans was an unconstitutional repudiation of contractual obligations because the complaint failed to allege that the challenged legislation unconstitutionally impaired any contractual rights and finding that federal court was not the proper forum to litigate undeveloped claims or to challenge the terms of a settlement by other parties in another lawsuit.
