Reversing and remanding a district court ruling that a man had a reasonable expectation of privacy under the Fourth Amendment in a motel room where he was present at the time of a police search of the premises because the occupant, allegedly the guest of a guest of the person who rented the room, distinguishing an overnight guest from a drug trafficker present in a hotel room that happens to fall asleep for a bit, and examining other evidence that undermined the defendant's claim to privacy.
