United States First Circuit
US v. Patterson, 16-1357
Affirming the conviction and sentence of a man for five counts of bank robbery because the district court did not err in refusing to hold a hearing regarding warrants to install GPS tracking devices or suppress the evidence obtained from them because an eyewitness to a prior robbery who identified a car and license plate provided sufficient probable cause and his arrest while casing a bank also had enough evidence to support his detention and search.
