United States First Circuit

US v. Bauzo Santiago, 15-1280

Affirming the conviction of a man who made the poor decision to send a handwritten letter to the judge in his case asking for new legal counsel in which he admitted his guilt in the matter because his letter was not part of plea-bargaining statements and the decision to admit the letter into evidence was not an abuse of discretion.
