US v. Santa-Otero, 15-2186
Sentence for conviction of possessing a firearm after being convicted of a felony, in violation of 18 U.S.C. section 922(g)(1), and possessing a machine gun, in violation of 18 U.S.C. section 922(o), is affirmed where, after an initial resentencing has occurred, the District Court's reasoning is sufficient to justify the variance and that the variance was not otherwise imposed in error.
