United States First Circuit
US v. Hurley, 15-2541
Sentence for guilty plea to conspiracy to distribute, and possess with the intent to distribute, controlled substances is affirmed over defendant's claims that: 1) that marihuana, rather than THC, was the proper comparator for the synthetic cannabinoids he possessed; and 2) the district court erred in applying the 1:167 ratio 'even if synthetic cannabinoid product were somehow the equivalent of pure THC.'
