United States First Circuit

Hyatt v. Gelb, 15-2404

In a habeas corpus action challenging petitioner's conviction for shooting four people outside of a Boston bar, the district court's denial of the petition is affirmed where: 1) the state appellate court decided that excluding defendant from a jury view of the crime scene did not violate his right to be present under Snyder v. Massachusetts, 291 U.S. 97 (1934); and 2) that decision was not contrary to or an unreasonable application of clearly established federal law.
