Sentence and conviction of possessing drugs with intent to distribute, 21 U.S.C. section 841(a)(1), and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, 18 U.S.C. section 924(c), are: 1) affirmed as to conviction where the judge's conduct of the trial did not prejudice defendant, and the judge did not deny him adequate preparation time; but 2) remanded for further proceedings where there is sufficient signs of ineffectiveness of counsel.
