United States First Circuit
Chen v. Lynch, 15-1789
In a Chinese native and citizen petition seeking judicial review of a final order of removal issued by the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) affirming the Immigration Judge's (IJ's) denial of petitioner's application for asylum, withholding of removal, and protection under the United Nations Convention Against Torture (CAT), the petition is denied where nothing in the record compels a finding that the agency erred in concluding that petitioner failed to carry his burden to demonstrate either past persecution or an objectively reasonable and well-founded fear of future persecution.
