United States First Circuit

US v. Suarez-Gonzalez, 13-1594

Defendant's sentence for multiple convictions involving the theft and/or conversion of postal money orders from the United States Postal Service (USPS) is affirmed, where: 1) the sentencing court did not err in applying the two-level enhancement for using a counterfeiting device; 2) the court appropriately considered the section 3553(a) factors; and 3) his twenty-one month sentence is substantively unreasonable.
