United States First Circuit
US v. Oquendo-Rivas, 11-2260
The district court's denial of defendant's motion to suppress a series of inculpatory statements is affirmed, where: 1) defendant waived his argument regarding the statement to Officer Rodríguez that he did not hold a license to possess firearms; and 2) the district court did not err in concluding that Agent Torres's interrogation neither violated defendant's right to remain silent nor ignored an unambiguous request for counsel.
