United States First Circuit

US v. Maguire, 12-2458

Defendant's sentence for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, imposed following his guilty plea, is affirmed, where: 1) the district court's drug-quantity determination was not clearly erroneous; 2) the district court's perjury finding is well supported; 3) the district court did not err in declining to credit defendant's sentence for acceptance of responsibility; and 4) the district court did not abuse its discretion in denying a downward departure or variance.
