United States First Circuit
US v. Echevarria-Rios, 12-1804
Defendant's conviction of one count of the crime of possession of a firearm by a felon is affirmed, where the district court properly denied defendant's motion to suppress evidence of the firearm under the good faith exception to the exclusionary rule because the government carried its burden of showing that the officers acted in good faith, and relied on a warrant that was facially valid at the time they detained the defendant.
