Grand Wireless, Inc. v. Verizon Wireless, Inc., 13-1149

In an action brought by plaintiff against defendant and its employee alleging a violation of the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), the district court's denial of defendants' motion to compel arbitration pursuant to the parties' Agency Agreement, is reversed and remanded, where: 1) plaintiff's claims are within the scope of the parties' arbitration agreement; and 2) arbitration of the claims against defendant's employee is not barred despite her status as a non-signatory of the arbitration agreement.
