United States First Circuit
Saka v. Holder, 12-2193
Following denial of relief from the immigration courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) properly denied petitioner's motion to reopen, which added a claim for asylum, and his subsequent motion to reconsider, where: 1) his motion to reopen was untimely; and 2) the BIA did not abuse its discretion in denying the motion to reconsider because the BIA fully considered and reasonably applied the relevant legal standards.
