Defendant's conviction of mail fraud is affirmed, where: 1) the district court more than adequately instructed the jury on the necessary elements of a scheme to defraud and there is no error, plain or otherwise, with its instructions; and 2) there was no error in the district court's failure to provide a unanimity instruction on which particular statement was false; and 3) defendant cannot prevail on her ineffective assistance claim because given the weight of the evidence, defendant cannot demonstrate a reasonable probability that her trial's outcome would have been different but for defense counsel's missteps.
