In a Chapter 11 debtor's suit against the Puerto Rico Highway and Transportation Authority, claiming amounts due for work performed on construction projects, bankruptcy court's award of damages, plus interest in favor of the plaintiff is: 1) vacated and remanded for assessment of postjudgment interest from September 30, 2011 to February 17, 2012 at the rate provided in section 1961; and 2) vacated and remanded for a determination of whether an award of prejudgment interest was appropriate, and if so, the basis for the award, the applicable rate of interest, and the period of accrual.
