United States First Circuit
US v. Romero-Lopez, 10-1775
Defendant's convictions for money laundering offenses are affirmed where: 1) district court did not abuse its discretion in its decision to advance the trial date by one day; and 2) the district court did not abuse its discretion in allowing the admission of defendant's tax returns for the years in which the conspiracy was alleged to have taken place, nor in allowing testimony regarding his 2005 trip and detention by federal authorities as prior bad acts.
