The decision of the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel (BAP) holding that the contractor's debt arising from a dispute with a homeowner are not excepted from discharge under 11 U.S.C. section 523 is reversed and remanded, as the homeowner has satisfied his causation burden under section 523(a)(2)(A), which bars discharge of "any debt for money to the extent obtained by false pretenses, a false representation, or actual fraud."
