United States First Circuit

US v. Jones, 10-2363

In a conviction of defendant for drug related offenses, the district court's denial of defendant's motion to suppress and exclusion of an expert witness for the defendant is affirmed, as the district court did not clearly err in its conclusion that the circumstances surrounding the identification of defendant was reasonable, and the district court was fully entitled to conclude that the general information regarding the identification of the defendant could be more reliably and efficiently conveyed by instructions rather than through dueling expert testimonies.
