United States First Circuit
US v. Howard, 11-1492
Defendant’s convictions for gun and drug possession are affirmed where: 1) motion to suppress was properly denied as district court’s conclusion that officers did not start searching until a resident gave consent was not clearly erroneous; 2) the district court did not err in giving joint possession and aiding and abetting jury instructions; and 3) evidence was sufficient to establish that defendant possessed the gun and the drugs.
