United States First Circuit
Sebastian M. v. King Philip Regional School District, 11-1489
In a suit brought pursuant to the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA), which requires that students with disabilities receive a free appropriate public education (FAPE) in the least restrictive environment possible, district court's judgment upholding an administrative hearing officer's determination that plaintiff's parents were not entitled to recover the costs of private education is affirmed, as the district court fulfilled its responsibility to review the administrative record in reviewing the hearing officer's ruling.
