Jones v. Secord, 11-1576

In a suit arising out of the death of plaintiff's decedent who was shot and killed by a man wielding a stolen handgun, alleging the gun owner's negligent storage of the weapon and his failure timely to report its theft proximately caused the decedent's death, the district court's grant of summary judgment in favor of the gun owner is affirmed where the failure to report and failure to secure claims fail.
