In a prosecution for numerous mail-fraud, money-laundering, and conspiracy crimes committed in furtherance of a multilevel marketing pyramid scheme, a defendant's convictions are affirmed, where: 1) a rational jury could have found not only that the defendant knew the material facts of the scam but also that she played a key role in it; 2) evidence was sufficient to convict on money laundering counts; and 3) any variance between the indictment and proof on a mail-fraud-conspiracy count did not prejudice the defendant's substantial rights and was not plain error.
