In a prosecution for making false statements and applying for naturalization in violation of 18 USC sections 1001(a)(2) and 1425(b), the conviction is affirmed, where: 1) because the N-445 Notice of Naturalization Oath Ceremony form was not testimonial, its admission did not violate the defendant's constitutional right to confrontation; 2) the N-445 was properly admitted under the public records exception to the hearsay rule; and 3) the government's repeated reference at trial to the defendant's prior conviction for selling cocaine was not error.
