Collins v. UNH, 10-2316
In an appeal from an judgment of the district court dismissing plaintiff-professor's complaint false arrest, defamation, and due process violations following arrest for stalking and disorderly conduct, summary judgment is affirmed because: 1) the warrant for plaintiff's arrest on stalking charges was supported by probable cause; 2) defendant had notice of both the charges against him and the possible sanctions; and 3) on the plaintiff's defamation claim, there is no evidence that defendants acted with malice.
