Silva v. City of New Bedford, 10-1013
In an appeal from a judgment of the district court dismissing plaintiff's Section 1983 action arising from an altercation between the plaintiff and two police officers, judgment is affirmed where plaintiff's claims against defendant-city is closely related to an earlier adjudicated claim against the officers employed by defendant, such that the claim is barred on res judicata grounds.
