United States First Circuit
Lamex Foods, Inc. v. Audeliz Lebron, Corp., 10-1677
In a commercial dispute involving Puerto Rico's Dealers' Contract Act of 1964, P.R. Laws Ann. tit. 10, sections 278-278e, judgment of the trial court is reversed in part because Rule 65(a)(2) consolidation of a preliminary injunction hearing with a bench trial constituted an abrogation of defendant's right to a jury trial where court failed to provide indisputably clear notice of its intent to consolidate, and affirmed in part where court properly imposed sanctions and monetary judgments.
