United States First Circuit

US v. Carlson, 10-1370

Conviction of defendant for failing to pay child support in violation of the Child Support Recovery Act (CSRA), 18 U.S.C. section 228(a)(3), is affirmed where district court properly instructed the jury on defendant's CSRA obligation because the CSRA imposes criminal liability if a defendant is able to pay at least a portion of his child support obligation but fails to do so.
