US v. Booker, 09-1810, 09-2302

Conviction and sentencing of defendants for being individuals convicted of a misdemeanor domestic violence in possession of firearms, 18 U.S.C. section 922(g)(9), are upheld where: 1) an intentional offense qualifies as a predicate offense under section 922(g)(9); and 2) the statute is a permissible and reasonable regulation of firearm use such that it does not breach the Second Amendment.
