United States First Circuit

Del-Toro-Pacheco v. Pereira, 09-2532

In a political discrimination case, alleging that plaintiff was fired from his job at the Puerto Rico Department of Correction and Rehabilitation Administration (DCR) because his superiors disagreed with his political beliefs, grant of summary judgment for the defendants is affirmed where plaintiff has not established a prima facie case of political discrimination because he failed to show that the defendants knew of his political affiliation.
