In an action brought by a terminated employee alleging that her termination violated the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), summary judgment in favor of employer is affirmed where plaintiff's unapproved seven-week leave to accompany her ill husband on a spiritual healing trip was not "protected" under the statute because it was effectively a vacation.
