United States First Circuit
US v. Scott, 08-1205
Conviction for drug and weapons crimes is affirmed where the district court did not err in denying defendant's motion to suppress evidence seized following the execution of a state parole warrant for temporary custody, as neither the acquisition nor the execution of the warrant violated the Fourth Amendment since the manner in which the parole warrant was executed complied with the requirement that police officers serve in a strictly instrumental role.
