Monteagudo v. Asociacion de Empleados del Estado Libre Asociado de Puerto Rico, 07-2341
In a suit alleging sexual harassment claims under federal and Puerto Rico law against plaintiff's former employer, a judgment in favor of plaintiff and various rulings against defendant are affirmed over claims that the district court erred in: 1) denying defendant's motions for judgment as a matter of law on the Faragher-Ellerth affirmative defense pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 50; 2) denying motions for a new trial and remittitur of the damages award pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 59; and 3) various evidentiary and discovery rulings made during trial.
