United States First Circuit
Cuko v. Mukasey, 07-1273
Petition for review of a BIA order denying petitioner's application for asylum is denied over claims that: 1) the IJ improperly assumed the role of a government attorney by engaging in "prosecutorial questioning"; and 2) the IJ's adverse credibility determinations based on his perceptions of testimonial inconsistencies and witnesses' demeanors were not supported by the record.
