US v. Piesak, 07-2164

Conviction and sentence for attempting to manufacture ecstasy is affirmed where the following evidence presented at trial was deemed sufficient to support the conviction: 1) defendant acquired ingredients necessary to manufacture ecstacy; 2) defendant researched, obtained, and actively studied ecstasy recipes; and 3) defendant acquired, assembled and tested equipment used to manufacture ecstacy.
