United States First Circuit

Sela v. Mukasey, 07-1837

Petition for review of a denial of an application for asylum, withholding of removal, and protection under the Convention Against Torture is denied where: 1) the court lacks jurisdiction to review the IJ and BIA's determination that the asylum application was time-barred; 2) the IJ and BIA reasonably found that petitioner had failed to establish past persecution or a clear probability of future persecution; and 3) petitioner did not exhaust the administrative remedies relating to his CAT application.
