United States First Circuit
US v. Ward, 06-2354
Sentence for several drug-related convictions is affirmed where the record of the state court proceeding in the case contained sufficient evidence to permit the district court to find that defendant entered his state plea voluntarily, thus the mandatory sentence enhancement under 21 U.S.C. section 841(b)(1)(A) applied.
