United States First Circuit
Combined Energies v. CCI, Inc., 07-1766
In a lawsuit alleging various contract and tort claims related to what plaintiff described as a raid on its workforce subsequent to a failed take-over attempt by its erstwhile business partner-defendant, denial of defendant's motion to stay the proceedings and compel arbitration is affirmed where the district court properly found that plaintiff's claims do not fall within the scope of the parties' arbitration agreement.
