Rivera-Torres v. Rey-Hernandez, 06-2495

In a political discrimination case, summary judgment for defendants is affirmed where: 1) the district court properly refused to grant further extensions of the discovery period; 2) the court acted within the realm of its discretion in denying the plaintiffs' Rule 56(f) motion; and 3) there was no genuine issue as to any material fact and the defendants were entitled to judgment as a matter of law.
