United States First Circuit
Melhem v. Gonzales, 06-2658
Petition for review of the denial of an application for asylum, withholding of removal, and protection under the Convention Against Torture is denied where: 1) the court lacks jurisdiction to review the BIA's determination that the application for asylum was time-barred; 2) the IJ's adverse credibility determination was sufficiently supported by the record; 3) petitioner failed to provide sufficient evidence that his fear of future persecution is well-founded; and 4) petitioner presented no credible evidence to support his CAT claim.
