United States First Circuit

Rodriguez-Garcia v. Caguas, 05-1847

In a suit against a municipality alleging retaliation and political discrimination, dismissal of the retaliation claim against the mayor and the municipality is reversed where the district court's dismissal of the case against the mayor rested upon an erroneous evidentiary ruling involving the application of Federal Rule of Evidence 408 dealing with "compromise and offers to compromise." All other decisions of the district court are affirmed.
