United States First Circuit
Chao v. Hotel Oasis, Inc., 06-1021
In a case arising from an investigation of defendant by the Wage and Hour Division of the U.S. Department of Labor for minimum wage and overtime violations, judgment against it and its president is affirmed over defendants' contentions that the district court erred in: 1) failing to set aside a stipulation entered prior to trial; 2) concluding that defendant's president was personally liable as an employer; and 3) its decision to award liquidated damages.
