ITT Fed. Servs. Corp. v. Anduze-Montano, 06-1417
Dismissal of an insurance company's claim against an injured worker's attorneys for malpractice in pursuing a Federal Tort Claims Act suit on the worker's behalf is affirmed where the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act does not create a statutory right on the part of an insurance carrier to seek damages against an injured employee's attorneys for legal malpractice in pursuing the employee's claims against a responsible third party.
