United States First Circuit

US v. Gaffney, 05-1735

Conviction and sentence for conspiracy to distribute and distribution of crack cocaine are affirmed where the district court did not abuse its discretion in denying defendant's request for a continuance of his change of plea hearing to explore the possibility of hiring new counsel since the request for new counsel did not have a constitutional dimension.
