United States First Circuit
ITI Holdings, Inc. v. Professional Scuba Ass'n, Inc., 06-1616
Dismissal of an action for tortious interference with contractual relations and other business torts after plaintiffs responded to defendants' 12(b)(6) motion with a motion to transfer rather than a formal objection is affirmed where defendants' 12(b)(6) motion activated Maine's Local Rule 7(b), which states that failure to file an objection with a memorandum of law within 20 days of a motion shall result in a waiver of all objections to the motion.
