United States First Circuit

Vazquez-Valentin v. Santiago-Diaz, 03-1949

On remand from the US Supreme Court after a ruling that a party may not challenge the sufficiency of the evidence on appeal on the basis of the district court's denial of its Rule 50(a) motion alone, a jury verdict for plaintiff in a political discrimination case is vacated because of the district court's exclusion of certain evidence presented by the defendants.
