Conviction for possession of a firearm by a felon is affirmed over defendant's claims that: 1) the court improperly denied his motion to dismiss under the Speedy Trial Act; 2) he suffered from ineffective assistance of counsel; 3) the court improperly denied motions for acquittal or for a new trial on the basis of insufficient evidence; and 4) the district court abused its discretion in refusing the jury's request for trial transcripts.
