Blanchard v. Cortes-Molina, 05-2489
Default judgment and sale of defendant's boat in an admiralty case is affirmed where: 1) defendant's spouse was not an indispensable party; 2) defendant's failure to appear was because of his own negligence; 3) erroneous original default judgment did not violate defendant's due process rights; and 4) defendant did not show that his spouse was a co-owner of the boat.
