Orta-Castro v. Merck, Sharp & Dohme, Qu-mica of Puerto Rico, Inc., 05-1984

Summary judgment for defendant in an employment discrimination case under the ADA, FMLA and Puerto Rican law is affirmed where: 1) the evidence did not support claims under the ADA; 2) the only evidence offered for the FMLA claim was inadmissible hearsay; and 3) the dismissal of the federal claims allowed the lower court to decline jurisdiction over state claims.
